Business Game Builder allows you to create business games for corporate or educational business courses.
Business Game Builder simulates running a virtual company, teaching business principles by playing a competitive game. Decisions can be made on production, capacity planning, marketing, finance and more. One or more players can compete in the marketplace, sometimes against each other. It is an excellent way to visualize and safely apply the theory taught on business courses and the competition encourages and stimulates interest in business and economics.
Business Game Builder has fully customizable business rules - you`ll decide how the game works; not the programmer. There are a variable number of players and turns. There is no problem if a player drops out or joins mid-game. A flexible system design lets you monitor and amend variables at any time during a game. Decisions are processed transparently making it easier to spot problem areas and give hints to players who may be struggling.
The example business game included covers the vast majority of the functionality available in BGB and yet is a complete and viable business game in it`s own right. It models a production company competing against other companies in the same sector on price and advertising. It covers management information presented in a manner similar to real life; double-entry bookkeeping (profit and loss report), marketing reports, etc.
New to this version is a much improved user interface, improved reporting facilities and a more comprehensive demo business game which is more generic thereby suitable for any business course. |
